Ryan Reynolds Seen In Motion Capture Suit (UPDATED)
Splash Page Blog got their hands on the first pic of Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan in his costume... sort of. They have a picture of Ryan in his motion capture suit that will be used to place the Green Lantern uniform on him digitally.
Confirming earlier reports that the costume would be created completely in CGI. While worrisome to some fans, the filmmakers seem very focused on how they want to represent the uniform, as something alien in origin and suitable for any alien race who wields a ring.
Ryan can also be seen sporting some slick aviator shades (which makes sense, since Hal's a pilot) and those with keen eyes will spot none other than Blake Lively's (Carol Ferris) dog, Penny, at Ryan's feet. Hopefully we'll be seeing more of these images surface now that they're in the middle of filming... now we just need to find some pics of Mark Strong's make up test for Sinestro...
UPDATE: More images have appeared online, a second image of Ryan in his mo-cap suit, and an picture of Ryan arriving at the set on one of his motorcycles.
