Green Lantern Video Game Confirmed, Title Revealed!

Video Game Teaser Poster

More news flies out of Comic Con, Warner Brothers has sent out a press release, as well as the first teaser poster of the Green Lantern movie tie-in video game "Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters". If the press release wasn't enough to convince you that the game is tied to the movie, the logo and ring design on the poster should.

Warner Brothers states that the game is tied to the movie, but will happen after the movie's story, adding more to the experience and exploring events not depicted in the film. An interesting note about the game, this seems to reveal that the Manhunters are no longer being left out of the Green Lantern movie mythos, this was previously the case with the first draft of the script.

Traditionally, movie tie-in games have a reputation of being poor quality and rushed into development to meet an exact deadline, usually around the release of the film that it's tied-to. Though this game has already been in development for some time, at last as long as the film itself, so we can hopefully look forward to a high-quality product. We'll all be ring-slinging around his time next year it looks like!
