First Green Lantern Trailer Released!

 

Today Warner Brothers has unveiled the first Green Lantern trailer in all of it's glory. All the fan favorites are present, Abin Sur, Sinestro, Kilowog, Tomar Re, Tom Kalmaku, Carol Ferris and of course, the man himself, Hal Jordan.

Green Lantern Character Teaser Posters Released

 

Warner Brothers has released digital versions of the Green Lantern teaser posters that they handed out like hotcakes at Comic Con this past weekend. The teaser posters feature the four main characters of Green Lantern, Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, Blake Lively as Carol Ferris, Mark Strong as Thaal Sinestro and Peter Sarsgaard as Dr. Hector Hammond.

Behold! The Green Lantern! Tomorrow's Issue of Entertainment Weekly will debut Green Lantern's movie costume to the world. Images have, of course, been leaked online. This image has met with both praise and disdain from hardcore and casual fans alike. One thing's certain, this cover is making a impact.

Hector Hammond Revealed!

 

So we finally have our first look at one of the villains for the upcoming Green Lantern movie! The creepy, smarmy Doctor Hector Hammond, played by the talented Peter Sarsgaard.

Sarsgaard was seen walking the New Orleans set recently when the picture was taken. He's seen sporting the trademark bulbous head, receding hairline and creepy mustache that he's known for in the comics.

The Hollywood Reporter via Heat Vision Blog is reporting that actor Peter Sarsgaard is in talks with Warner Brothers to appear as Hector Hammond in the upcoming Green Lantern film. Hammond, as anyone who's familiar with the comics knows, is a "pathologist son of a senator who is seen as a disappointment in his father's eyes. He becomes infused with psychic powers".

Sarsgaard has put forth some Oscar-worthy performances before. Most recently finishing up work on "Knight and Day" with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.
