Group Lobbying For Song "Ring Capacity" In Soundtrack

A group on Facebook is trying to convince Warner Brothers to add the Green Lantern themed song "Ring Capacity" (The namesake of this very site!) to the Green Lantern movie soundtrack. This seems like a no-brainer to any fan who's heard the song, but who knows if any of the Warner Brothers execs listen to nerd rock!

Green Lantern Movie Costume Revealed! UPDATED

Behold! The Green Lantern! Tomorrow's Issue of Entertainment Weekly will debut Green Lantern's movie costume to the world. Images have, of course, been leaked online. This image has met with both praise and disdain from hardcore and casual fans alike. One thing's certain, this cover is making a impact.

Green Lantern Production Logo!

New Pictures from the set have surfaced, the most interesting being of the back of the chairs showing off the GL production logo. This logo is very likely not a finished version, and will only be used for production, but it's more or less the traditional design, and that's a good thing. We probably won't see a final logo for the film until much closer to release when merchandise is rolling out, at which time they'll have a final look in place.

Hal's Ring and Carol's Hair! First On-Set Pictures

The first set pictures have been captured for day 1 of Green Lantern filming, and they do not disappoint. While not showing off the costume or anything fantastic, we do catch a slight glimpse of Hal wearing the ring, and supposedly a from-the-back shot of Blake Lively (Carol Ferris) with dark hair.

Carol's hair color had been a concern among some comic fans. For 50 years Carol Ferris had been depicted with brunette (bordering on black) hair, Blake Lively, the actress cast as Carol is a blond, as well as the actress cast to play a young Carol. So the release of these images has satisfied quite a few comic fans who were concerned about this minor cosmetic question.
