Abin Sur Speaks: Latino Review Talks to Temuera Morrison

Kellvin Chavez of Latino Review caught up with Temuera Morrison at Disney World over the weekend and had the chance to talk to the Kiwi actor about his role in the upcoming blockbuster Green Lantern. Temuera plays Hal Jordan's predecessor, protector of space sector 2814 and is instrumental in selecting Hal as his replacement.

Temuera was at Disney World celebrating the 30th anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Temuera is known to many Star Wars fans as the man who brought life to infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett's father, Jango Fett in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and numerous clone troopers in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Abin Sur Cast! Tom is a Kiwi?

It appears that early reports of Adam Beach being cast as Tom Kalmaku may have been false, or Adam chose to leave the production, either way, Heat Vision Blog is reporting that both Abin Sur and "the best friend" of Hal Jordan have been cast. Abin Sur will be played by none other than Jango Fett himself, Temuera Morrison, and Tom will supposedly be played by Taika Waititi. Both actors are natives of New Zealand.
